맨체스터 유나이티드의 라이벌 구단 출신 선수들이 맨유의 유럽축구연맹(UEFA) 챔피언스리그 조별리그 탈락에 기여해 팬들의 약수동포장이사 이목을 끌고 있다.

맨유는 9일(한국시간) 독일 라이프치히의 레드불 아레나에서 열린 라이프치히와 2020-21시즌 UEFA 챔피언스리그 조별리그 H조 6차전 최종전에서 3-2로 패배해 16강 탈락이 확정됐다.

라이프치히는 맨유를 잡고 승점 12(4승2패)를 제기동포장이사 기록해 최소 조 2위를 확정하며 16강 티켓을 거머쥐었다.

이날 맨유의 탈락에 크게 기여한 선수들 중 일부는 야속하게도 과거 맨유의 라이벌 클럽에 소속됐던 선수들이다.
