올 시즌 창원 LG 유니폼을 입은 박경상(30, 180cm)이 이적 후 3경기 만에 진가를 드러냈다.
LG는 13일 창원실내체육관에서 해축중계 열린 2020-2021 현대모비스 프로농구 서울 SK와의 올 시즌 세 번째 맞대결에서 85-76으로 승리했다. 주말 연전을 치른 LG는 직전 경기(12일 KT전)서 역전패(88-98)로 분위기가 다운될 뻔했지만, 난적 SK를 격파하며 연패 위기에서 벗어났다. 이날 승리로 LG는 9승(11패)째를 기록했다.
시종일관 박빙 승부 속에 LG는 5명이 두 자릿수 득점을 기록하며 SK를 4연패 늪으로 몰아넣었다. 캐디 라렌(24점 13리바운드)이 더블-더블을 작성한 가운데 박정현(15점)과 최승욱(13점)이 지원사격하며 포장이사 웃었다. 이들과 함께 박경상 역시 출전 시간 대비 고효율의 활약으로 동료들의 어깨를 가볍게 했다.
이날 경기서 박경상은 15분 28초 동안 코트를 누비며 15점 3리바운드를 기록했다. 야투 성공률 역시 67%(4/6)를 자랑하며 팀 승리의 발판을 마련했다. 특히 3쿼터는 박경상의 독무대였다. 박경상은 3쿼터를 모두 소화하며 자신이 올린 15점을 모두 쏟아부었다. 공격 농구를 추구하는 팀과 그의 플레이 스타일은 매치를 이루는 만큼 박경상은 주어진 시간에 모든 걸 쏟아내며 만점 활약을 펼쳤다. 서울대용달이사 4쿼터 중반 발목에 경미한 부상을 입어 벤치로 물러나지만 않았더라면, 더 많은 시간 코트를 누볐을 것이다.
