두산은 15일 정수빈 석관동포장이사 에이전트와 만나 협상을 진행해 6년 계약에 합의했다. 지난 10일 허경민을 잡은 두산은 내부 FA 2호 단속에 성공했다.
2009년 두산에 입단한 정수빈은 빠른 발을 앞세운 넓은 수비 범위를 자랑하며 두산의 주전 중견수로 활약했다. 올 시즌에는 141경기에서 평택사다리차 타율 2할9푼8리 59타점 84득점 15도루를 기록하면서 정확성 있는 타격과 함께 작전 수행 능력에서도 가치를 인정했다.
허경민을 잔류 1순위로 삼은 두산은 이후 정수빈 잔류에 총력을 기울였다. 한화 측의 제안이 있었지만, 두산에서 적극적으로 필요성을 역설했고, 명지대용달이사 약 3시간 가까운 마라톤 협상을 진행했다.
결국 두산은 4년이 아닌 6년 계약을 제시했고, 정수빈 측이 이를 받아들여 잔류하기로 합의했다.
