이번 시즌을 끝으로 선수 생활을 마감한 곽태휘 역시 서대문구사다리차 지도자의 길을 걷기 위해 서 감독과 손을 잡았다. 서 감독은 골키퍼 코치로 이정래, 피지컬 코치로 신상규를 차례로 영입하면서 자신의 사단을 완성했다. 서 감독은 수원 시절 함께했던 두 명의 스태프도 청두에 데려가기로 했다.
사단 구축이 완료된 후 본격적인 움직임이 포착됐다. 김대의를 비롯한 코치진은 27일 청두로 출국한 것. 이들은 2주간 격리 절차를 마친 뒤 세부 계약 체결 및 업무에 들어갈 계획이다. 이달 초 여주포장이사 계약을 위해 청두에 다녀왔던 서 감독은 30일 비행기로 청두로 이동할 예정이다.
코치진이 확정됨에 따라 선수단 보강이 더욱 탄력을 받을 것으로 보인다. 청두의 전폭적인 지원을 약속 받은 서 감독은 외국인 선수 영입 작업에 한창이다. 현재 가장 공을 들이고 있는 선수는 사다리차가격비교 수원 시절 함께했던 조나탄이다.
