16일 일본 ‘풋볼 채널’은 ‘트랜스퍼마르크트’의 데이터를 기반으로 현재 시장 가치가 가장 높은 한국 선수 5명의 순위를 정했다.
1위는 예상대로 손흥민이었다. 손흥민의 현재 시장 가치는 7,500만 유로(약 999억원)였다. ‘풋볼 채널’은 “한국이 자랑하는 월드 클래스 강남용달이사 공격수”라며 “손흥민은 함부르크 SV, 바이어 레버쿠젠을 거쳐 토트넘에서 월드 클래스의 빛을 내고 있다”고 평했다.
이어 “가속력 있는 드리블로 상대 진영을 가르고 차면 들어갈 정도의 슈팅, 좌우 양발의 정확도에 큰 차이가 없어 상대하는 용산사다리차 선수들이 막기 어려운 존재”라며 손흥민의 장점도 전했다. 또한 ‘풋볼 채널’은 “FIFA 월드 베스트 후보 55명 중 아시아 선수로는 유일하게 이름을 올렸다”고 덧붙였다.
이어 2위는 2,000만 유로(약 266억원)의 이강인(발렌시아)이었다. ‘풋볼 채널’은 “한국 축구의 신동으로 불렸다”며 “주력 선수들이 나간 발렌시아의 구심점으로 뛰었으나 출전 기회가 감소했다. 현재 광명이사업체 이적을 준비중”이라고 전했다.
